“Because Your Health Is Where Our Heart Is”

“What do I do now?” is often asked after people have experienced a cardiac event. It can be overwhelming for patients and their loved ones. Putnam County Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness program is designed to help you develop strategies for a positive recovery. Through a medically supervised education and exercise program, patients can minimize the effects of heart disease on their daily lives and reduce the risk for future heart problems. Our program includes exercise, education and emotional support. A component in your emotional recovery is the support and camaraderie shared with other rehab participants. As patients exercise together, they share experiences andconcerns, and encourage each other as they move forward to becoming their personal best.

Our Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness staff also assists physicians in completing a variety of diagnostic cardiac tests and monitors.
