  • Maintenance Specialist (FT w/Benefits) – 2.10.16

    Putnam County Hospital is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Maintenance Department. This position involves assisting in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the hospital and the remote physician offices in good repair.

    This position requires a valid Indiana driver's license, scheduled weekend rotations, on call responsibilities, high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and three to six (3-6) years related work experience in Building Maintenance.

    Ideal candidate will possess strong background in Electrical, HVAC, Steam Production, Commercial Plumbing, Bio-medical or related experience.

    This is a full-time position and is eligible for full benefits. Second shift preferred, but manager willing to allow individual to work on first shift rotation.

     

  • Patient Acct Rep (PT w/Benefits) – 2.8.16

    PATIENT ACCOUNT REP, Monday-Friday, Part-Time

    Knowledge of third party payor procedures and collection techniques. Ability to deal effectively with patients and co-workers. Good follow through skills. Ability to communicate clearly

    Post cash/check receipts (co-pays) and miscellaneous monies received via the mail and interoffice into the computer and prepare daily bank deposit by remote deposit, CC online or deposit slips. Post insurance/patient payments received via lock box or EFT daily.

    Process refunds and payment plans daily. Post and issue refunds

    Process Collections Agency Remits weekly

    Respond to inquiries concerning account balances, third party payments, etc., from patients, relatives and/or third party payers in a timely manner.

    Routinely review all claims that have been entered into the system for 30-45 days within your designated insurance group

    Contact third party payers by telephone or online that have failed to make appropriate payments with follow up correspondence (or fax), as indicated.

    Demonstrates good judgment and reasoning when investigating and solving problems. Demonstrates good judgment in respecting the confidentiality of patient and employee information. Seeks guidance and direction in the performance of responsibilities and duties. Consistently acts as a customer service representative for the company.

    Works well with supervisor and all others in positions of authority. Maintains cooperative working relationship with all personnel. Promotes a high degree of morale and spirit of motivation within the office. This includes the degree of cooperation, communication and coordination between this function and other employees. Demonstrates ability to tactfully handle difficult situations.

    Consistently shows ability to recognize and deal with priorities.

    Performs all duties in an independent manner with minimal direction and supervision. Recognizes and performs duties which need to be performed although not directly assigned

  • Business Office Cashier (FT w/Benefits) – 2.8.16

    We are looking for an energetic, positive, and professional team player to work in our Business Office. This individual needs to have good customer service skills, ability to multi-task, and detail-oriented. Strong math, computer skills and very effective oral and written communication skills are also needed.

    Experience not required but preferred with Microsoft Word, Office, and Excel.

    This is full time, Monday- Friday, working 9a-5p and a benefit eligible position.

  • Radiologic Technologist (FT with Benefits) – 2.5.16

    The PCH Radiology Team is in search of a Radiologic Technologist, FT with benefits status. CT training is preferred, but we will provide training as needed to the perfect candidate. Weekends, Holidays may be required depending on need.

     

  • Clinical Pharmacist (PT w/Benefits) – 1.29.16

    Day shift/some weekends, licensure required, expereince preferred.

    Functions encompass clinical, quality improvement and staffing duties.   Daily activities may include patient profile review; medication order entry and dispensing; review and development of therapy protocols; renal dosing and antibiotic/anticoagulant monitoring. Other duties include involvement in and development of quality improvement projects, leading medication error reduction teams, providing patient medication counseling, and other special projects.

  • Hospice & Palliative Care Association Director (PT w/out Ben.) – 1.22.16

    PUTNAM COUNTY HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE ASSOCIATION DIRECTOR

    Putnam County Hospice and Palliative Care Association is looking for an experienced Director. This is a part-time, grant funded position. The Director will work closely with the Board of Directors and will assume the responsibility of the operational aspects of the Association in educating medical care providers, key stakeholders, and the general public about the benefits of Hospice and Palliative Care as well as providing support and navigational resources to those in need.

    Key Skillsets and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    Knowledge of hospice, palliative care, and health care resources and terminology; Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other state and federal privacy and confidentiality requirements; Budgeting and financial reporting, including spreadsheet creation; Grant application, management, administration and reporting; Knowledge of nonprofit organizations and community resources; Marketing and community education.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Preferred qualifications include candidates with Bachelor’s Degree or professional certification in field of business, social work, counseling, or health care; three to five years’ experience in non-profit administration and community group leadership; one year experience in healthcare and/or Hospice environment.

     

  • Lab MLT (FT w/Benefits) – 1.22.16

    Our Laboratory Department is currently seeking an MT/MLT to perform testing in all areas including: chemistry, hematology, special chemistry, serology, urinalysis, microbiology and blood bank. This associate will also be required to perform venipuncture as needed and to hold a current MT/MLT (ASCP) certification. This position is full-time M-F (4 pm – midnight), no weekends, rotating holidays, and benefit eligible.

  • RN – Med Surg (PRN) – 1.15.16

    We are looking for one Registered Nurse for our Med Surg Department. The position is not benefit eligible and will be working 7p-7a night shift, prn.

    • License is Required

  • RN – Emergency Dept (PRN) – 1.11.16

    We are looking for a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department available immediately. This is a PRN position.  Shifts will vary between days, evenings, and nights.

    • Must be BLS certified
    • Preferred ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and ENPC

    ACLS, PALS, BLS, Conscious Sedation License/Certificates Required.

    RN will assess patients prior to surgery and prep them for the operating room.

    We are looking for a PRN Sleep Lab Technologist. RPSGT is preferred but will consider Credentialed Respiratory Therapist.
