    FT w/Benefits Cardiac Rehab RN (M-W-F 12 hr days with flexible hours based on patient needs)

    We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, patient-focused team member to join our very busy and growing Cardiac Rehab Unit. We desire someone who is detailed oriented, self-motivated, and flexible with good critical thinking skills.

    Duties include the following:

    • Schedule and perform the admission process of Phase 2 and Phase 3 Cardiac Rehab patients. This includes checking with insurance companies to verify eligibility, benefits and pre-certification if needed.
    • Monitor rhythms during phase 2 patient exercise sessions
    • Assess, plan & evaluate patient care needs every visit
    • Assist patients with cardio & resistance equipment for safe exercise
    • Teach stretches/warm up exercises & free hand weights
    • Provides age and culturally appropriate care
    • Review and update patient’s exercise prescription/ ITP’s (Individual Treatment Plans
    • Educate patients about personal risk factors for CAD & modification strategies
    • Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems
    • Provide education to CHF patients (inpatient and outpatient health coaching)
    • Chart prep prior to Cardiac Stress Testing
    • Placement of Holter and Event monitors and manage reports
    • Placement of 24 hr Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitors and manage reports
    • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required

     

    Qualifications

    Current licensure as an RN in the state of IN

    Current certification in BLS/ACLS Healthcare Provider required

    Minimum 2 years of critical care/cardiac rehab nursing experience required

    Cardiac telemetry and strong rhythm recognition experience required

    CHF education a plus but will train.

  • RN – Employee Health (PT w/out Ben.) – 6.19.17

    Putnam County Hospital has a part time opening (12 – 16 hours per week) for an Employee Health Nurse. This position requires a current, active Indiana RN license and BLS certification.  The Employee Health Nurse needs to have strong physical assessment and critical thinking skills, as well as, the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.  A positive attitude is a must.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work well with the PCH team and have a strong interest in promoting patient and associate safety initiatives.

    We are currently seeking a friendly, patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant for our Putnam Prompt Care/Women’s Healthcare floater. This position requires both front and back office duties and certification is required. Our ideal candidate will have experience. This will be a full-time, benefit eligible position. Evenings and weekends required.

    We are looking for a housekeeper to clean and service building areas, move furniture, equipment and supplies in and around the facility. Perform a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the facility in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition.

    We are looking for a Unit Clerk for our busy Emergency Department. This will be a full time position with benefits. Hours vary including some weekends and holidays.

    Applicant must be flexible, able to handle fast paced environment, and multitask efficiently. Applicant must be able to deal with the public. Computer skills are highly recommended. A variety of tasks will be assigned including but not limited to data entry, answering phones, and assist in obtaining medical records. EMT or medical experienced personnel preferred.

    We are looking for a friendly, outgoing mature person who is responsible for greeting incoming patients with a smile, distributing paperwork to the necessary departments, entering pertinent information in the patients account; including insurance and demographic, and being a team player who works well with co-workers as well as other departments.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Handle inquiries and patients coming in for services
    • Ensure all papers are properly filled out and input into system.
    • Enter and verify that all patient demographics and billing information correctly entered/verified at time of check in.

  • Lab – Phleb. (PT w/Ben.) – 5.2.17

    We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture blood collection, urine collection, urine drug screen collection and glucometer operation. Assists with other duties as requested. Previous work experience and medical assistant training helpful but not required.

    Under the general supervision of the laboratory director and bench supervisor, the phlebotomist assumes the responsibility for performing venipuncture and related procedures according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures on patients ranging in age from newborns to geriatrics. Venipuncture and skin punctures are performed competently and expediently using aseptic technique. Has thorough knowledge of test specimen requirements including fasting and dietary requirements.

    Position Requirements: 1. High School graduate or equivalent. 2. Medical assistant or phlebotomy certification preferred. 3. Experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital setting preferred. 4. Excellent customer relation's skills/able to deal effectively and tactfully with patients and visitors of all ages, with co-workers, physician's, and physician office staff. 5. Mathematical, verbal, written skills at the high school level. 6. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. 7. Basic computer knowledge required.

    We are currently seeking a friendly, compassionate, patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant for our busy family practice in Cloverdale. This position will involve performing both front office and back office duties.  Duties included are triage of telephone calls, scheduling, checking patients in/out, collection of payment, scanning, faxing and general office duties.  Experience for this position include obtaining prior authorization, rooming patients and taking medical history, updating medications, phlebotomy & giving injections, assisting with procedures, working directly with a Physician and/or Physician Assistant.  Certification is required and medical office experience is preferred.
