  • RN House Supervisor (FT w/Ben, Nights) – 3.23.17

    We are looking for a RN House Supervisor available immediately. This is for an hourly Full Time position working nights, 7p-7a. Benefit eligible.

    • ACLS & BLS certifications required.
    • PALS certification preferred/recommended, but will not turn away ideal candidate without.
    • Preferred candidate with at least 5 years of ED and/or Critical Care experience
  • 2 – Housekeeping Days (FT w/Ben) – 3.20.17

    We are looking for two housekeepers to clean and service building areas, move furniture, equipment and supplies in and around the facility. Perform a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the facility in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition.

    Regulatory Requirements:
    • Some related experience in the healthcare setting preferred.
    • Must have knowledge of proper housekeeping technique and procedures.
    • Must know appropriate house cleaning equipment and supplies used to complete assigned duties.
    • Must be a High School Graduate

  • Registration (PT w/Ben) – 3.10.17

    We are looking for a friendly, outgoing mature person who is responsible for greeting incoming patients with a smile, distributing paperwork to the necessary departments, entering pertinent information in the patients account; including insurance and demographic, and being a team player who works well with co-workers as well as other departments. You must be flexible to fill in extra shifts when necessary.
    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Handle inquiries and patients coming in for services
    • Ensure all papers are properly filled out and input into system.
    • Enter and verify that all patient demographics and billing information correctly entered/verified at time of check in.
    • Process encounters daily for and balance to co-payments.
    • Collect balances due at time of check in.
    • Direct patients to relevant areas of building.
    • Answer phones and transfer calls to appropriate departments successfully
    • Obtain signed statements.
    • Store patients' valuables.
    • Record payments.
    • Keep admission desk clean and organized.
    • Perform insurance data entry.
    • Follow all Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures

    • Perform admissions and transfers in a very timely manner
    We are currently hiring for a PT (Benefits Eligible) shift working Sunday 12pm – 7pm, Monday 8am-6pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10am – 2pm.
    Required:
     Customer-Service Skills: A successful admitting clerk will be friendly, organized and knowledgeable about the health care procedure.
     High School diploma
     Computer Skills: Admitting clerks will need to process insurance information and medical records, use the phone system, and learn industry specific software.
     Communication Skills: Listening to customers and hospital staff, speaking in a clear and friendly way over the phone and face-to-face are essential skills.
     Organization: Admitting clerks need to stay organized as each client or customer that is admitted creates a paper trail that needs to be in order.

  • 2 – Lab: MLT/MT (PT w/Ben) – 3.6.17

    Our Laboratory Department is currently seeking an MT/ MLT to perform testing in all areas. This associate will also be required to perform venipuncture as needed and to hold a current MLT (ASCP/AMT) certification or obtain within one year of hire. This position involves rotating weekends and holidays. This is a part time and benefit eligible position.

    We are looking for Two Registered Nurses for our Emergency Department available immediately. These are Full Time positions, benefits eligible.

    1: Full Time - night shift (7p-7a), 2: Rotating shifts including weekends

    We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture blood collection, urine collection, urine drug screen collection and glucometer operation. Assists with other duties as requested. Previous work experience and medical assistant training helpful but not required.

    Under the general supervision of the laboratory director and bench supervisor, the phlebotomist assumes the responsibility for performing venipuncture and related procedures according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures on patients ranging in age from newborns to geriatrics. Venipuncture and skin punctures are performed competently and expediently using aseptic technique. Has thorough knowledge of test specimen requirements including fasting and dietary requirements.

    Position Requirements: 1. High School graduate or equivalent. 2. Medical assistant or phlebotomy certification preferred. 3. Experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital setting preferred. 4. Excellent customer relation's skills/able to deal effectively and tactfully with patients and visitors of all ages, with co-workers, physician's, and physician office staff. 5. Mathematical, verbal, written skills at the high school level. 6. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. 7. Basic computer knowledge required.

    Job Requirements
    Must have minimum of BS from an accredited college of Medical Technology, Board of Registry examination Certification for Medical Technologist (ASCP, HEW/HHW, NCA, AMT) Minimum of four years’ experience in the clinical laboratory with at least two years in a supervisory position.

    Job Responsibilities Ensures that laboratory procedures are performed as defined in accepted standards of regulatory agencies (CAP, HFAP, ISDH, CLIA, etc.) Maintains compliance with hospital safety and infection control policies Maintains inventory of laboratory supplies Monitors compliance with the plans related to blood borne pathogens and chemical hygiene Department and staff supervision per Hospital policy Troubleshoots problems with laboratory instruments.

    This is a full time exempt, benefit eligible position.

  • Patient Account Rep (FT w/Ben) – 11.29.16

    Knowledge of third party payor procedures and collection techniques. Ability to deal effectively with patients and co-workers. Good follow through skills. Ability to communicate clearly
    Post cash/check receipts (co-pays) and miscellaneous monies received via the mail and interoffice into the computer and prepare daily bank deposit by remote deposit, CC online or deposit slips. Post insurance/patient payments received via lock box or EFT daily.
    Process refunds and payment plans daily. Post and issue refunds
    Process Collections Agency Remits weekly
    Respond to inquiries concerning account balances, third party payments, etc., from patients, relatives and/or third party payers in a timely manner.
    Routinely review all claims that have been entered into the system for 30-45 days within your designated insurance group
    Contact third party payers by telephone or online that have failed to make appropriate payments with follow up correspondence (or fax), as indicated.
    Demonstrates good judgment and reasoning when investigating and solving problems. Demonstrates good judgment in respecting the confidentiality of patient and employee information. Seeks guidance and direction in the performance of responsibilities and duties. Consistently acts as a customer service representative for the company.

    We are currently seeking a friendly, patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Outpatient Specialty Clinic. This position is located in our hospital in our newly renovated 3rd floor specialty clinic in Greencastle, Indiana. It is a full-time, day shift and benefit eligible position. Certification & experience are required.

    Experience for this position includes:

    • Electronic Medical Records documentation in all of the following systems will be a requirement: Allscripts, EPIC, Cerner, CPSI, NextGen
    • Insurance, recertification and authorizations
    • Triage of telephone calls and scheduling
    • Rooming patients and taking medical history
    • Updating Medications
    • Phlebotomy and giving injections
    • Obtaining prior authorizations
    • Assisting with Procedures

    Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills, able to multitask and become proficient in using multiple EMR systems. Previous clinical experience in a fast pace setting, strong attention to details and good knowledge of medications, labs, and medical testing.

    Our Laboratory Department is currently seeking an MLT to perform testing in all areas. This associate will also be required to perform venipuncture as needed and to hold a current MLT (ASCP) certification. This position is prn/as needed, while also working weekends and holidays.

    RRT or CRT required.

  • Sleep Lab Tech – 1/14/2015

    We are looking for a PRN Sleep Lab Technologist. RPSGT is preferred but will consider Credentialed Respiratory Therapist.
