  • Receptionist/Administrative Assistant – 03/2/2015

    In search of that special “take charge” Receptionist /Administrative Assistant for a very busy office. Must have strong communication and organization skills, including the ability to multi-task. This position will be a resource for the Administrative team and must demonstrate a professional, self-directed, mature, and disciplined approach.

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must. Knowledge in Microsoft Access a plus. Must have the ability to create and interpret data reports and maintain the utmost in confidentiality. Our ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have impeccable customer service skills, which are imperative.

    In addition, experience in Marketing, advertising, graphic design, associate relations and community relations a plus.

  • Registered Nurse – Pain Management Group – 2/27/2015

    The primary purpose of this RN is to assess, plan, direct, administer, teach, and evaluate nursing care; to ensure quality and efficiency according to established policies and procedures, and especially the performance of job-related technical skills within the Pain Management Group Practice.

    Requirements:

    • Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
    • BLS & ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
    • Graduation from an accredited school or college of nursing.
    • Two years’ experience as a clinical nurse in a hospital environment.
    • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize computer programs.
    • Good communication and organizational skills.
    • One year experience as a clinical nurse in a critical care or emergency department.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to read and follow instructions in English
    • Previous Pain Management experience preferred.
    • Part time with benefits.
    • 24 hours per week - 3 days per week (1 clinic day, .5 procedure day and 1.5 admin support for each position).
  • Certified MA- Pain Management Group – 2/27/15

    Performs a variety of routine administrative and clinical tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the physician’s office. Responsible for coordinating and performing general office functions and receptionist duties including greeting patients, maintaining patient schedules & patient reports, typing correspondence, filing, answering phones and transmitting messages. The Medical Office Assistant is clinically competent. Assists in delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse or physician.

    Requirements:

    • CPR Certification
    • Certified Medical Assistant
    • Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program
    • Previous physician office and billing experience.
    • Previous experience performing venipunctures.
    • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs.
    • Good organizational and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
    • Part time with benefits.

  • Medical Office Receptionist – 02/23/2015

    The Medical Office Receptionist is responsible to plan, coordinate and organize the activities and office of the Pain Management Center. The incumbent will be responsible for billing activities including predeterminations.

    Education:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Preference for Associates Degree in Medical Office Administration, or Certified Medical Assistant.
    • Medical Terminology
    • CPR within 30 days of hire or transfer

    Experience

    • Previous experience working in a medical office preferably in secretarial capacity.
    • Preference for previous experience with healthcare billing and insurance knowledge
    • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Positive Service oriented, interpersonal and communications skills
    • Clerical and office management skills to include typing, filing, phone etiquette
    • Understanding of age appropriate care and ability to assess patient status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements

     

  • Surgery Receptionist, Registration, & Pre-Registration – 2/20/2015

    We are currently seeking a dedicated and patient focused candidate for our Surgery Department. This person needs to have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. This person needs to have appropriate math skills. We need for them to be a people person with polite and courteous communication skills. Must be able to answer multi phone line and multi task and other jobs as assigned. Be able to learn quickly and adapt to different situations as the need may arise in the department. This person needs to have a high school diploma or higher education.

    This is a full time and benefit eligible position working Monday – Friday day shift.

  • Pain Clinic Nurse Supervisor – 02/20/2015

    Pain Clinic Supervisor is responsible for the direct and indirect care of pain management patients on a day to day basis. Responsibilities include; planning, organizing, and directing the specialty staff in the pain management clinic. Communicates pertinent information to provide for the optimum care of the patient. Assists in developing and monitoring quality improvement issues and assuring competent staff members are able to meet the needs of the patients served by the team. Clinical experience to include 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in surgery, Pre- Op, PACU, ER, cardiac care or critical care. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to follow instructions in English.

    Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status

    Interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age-specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the area’s policies and procedures.

    Previous Pain Management experience is preferred but not required.

    Licensure: Current Indiana RN License, BSN preferred. CPR and ACLS certification required.

    Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with preference for BSN.

    Experience: Preferred Two years of experience in nursing/office management.

  • Registration Clerk 2/16/2015

    We are looking for a dynamic personality who enjoys helping people. Ideal candidate will be outgoing, caring and courteous. Applicant must have strong and accurate data entry skills, ability to operate a computer, maintain a professional appearance, have the ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.

    This is a part-time and benefit eligible position, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts.

     

  • Lab Manager – 2/12/2015

    Job Requirements

    Must have minimum of AAS from an accredited school of Medical Technology, BS preferred Passing score on an appropriate Board of Registry examination Certification for Medical Technologist (ASCP, HEW/HHW, NCA) Minimum of four years’ experience in the clinical laboratory with at least two years in a supervisory position.
    Job Responsibilities Ensures that laboratory procedures are performed as defined in accepted standards of regulatory agencies (CAP, HFAP, ISDH, CLIA, etc.) Maintains compliance with hospital safety and infection control policies Maintains inventory of laboratory supplies Monitors compliance with the plans related to blood borne pathogens and chemical hygiene Department and staff supervision per Hospital policy Troubleshoots problems with laboratory instruments

    This is a full time exempt, benefit eligible position.

  • Quality Management Coordinator – 11/18/2014

    We are looking for an outstanding candidate for the Quality Management Coordinator with Putnam County Hospital. Position will be responsible for the overall planning and implementing the performance improvement program to meet the standards of the hospital.  Provides quality improvement education to medical staff, hospital staff, and the Governing Body.  Facilitates performance improvement activities throughout the organization, including hospital owned practices.  Acts as a resource person to the administrative team, department managers, and medical staff.  Assists with the preparation of all regulatory body surveys, i.e. HFAP, State Licensing Review, and CMS Validation surveys.  Candidate must hold a current RN license in the State of Indiana and consistently demonstrate a professional, self-directed, mature, disciplined, and tactful approach to department responsibilities.  Previous experience in performance improvement activities and acute care nursing preferred.  In addition, candidate must possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.  Must have computer knowledge, word processing and database management preferred.  This is a full time, benefit eligible position.
