    We are looking for two PRN Respiratory Therapists. RRT/CRT therapist required. These positions will be rotating shifts.

     

  • Registration Clerk (PT w/Benefits) – 5.16.16

    We are looking for a friendly, outgoing mature person who is responsible for greeting incoming patients, distributing paperwork, entering in pertinent information; including insurance and demographic, and handling the entering of insurance.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Handle inquiries and patients coming in for services
    • Ensure all papers are properly filled out and input into system.
    • Enter and verify that all patient demographics and billing information correctly entered/verified at time of check in.
    • Process encounters daily for and balance to co-payments.
    • Collect balances due at time of check in.
    • Direct patients to relevant areas of building.
    • Answer phones and transfer calls to appropriate departments sucessfully
    • Obtain signed statements.
    • Store patients' valuables.
    • Record payments.
    • Keep admission desk clean and organized.
    • Perform insurance data entry.
    • Follow all Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures
    • Perform admissions and transfers in a very timely manner
    • Customer Service Experience Required.
    • Medical Background Preferred.

    We are currently hiring for a PT (Benefit Eligible) shift of Monday 8am – 6pm, Tues, Wed, Thurs and Fri 10am – 2pm, and Sunday 11am – 6pm.

  • RN – PT – Nights (PT w/Benefits) 5.13.16

    We are looking for a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department available immediately. This is a Part Time position, benefits eligible.

    • Part Time - Nights
    • Must be BLS certified
    • ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred but not required
    • Critical Care/Emergency Department Experience Preferred but not required

  • Patient Account Rep (PT w/Benefits) – 5.5.16

    Part Time with Benefits

    Knowledge of third party payor procedures and collection techniques. Ability to deal effectively with patients and co-workers. Good follow through skills. Ability to communicate clearly

    Post cash/check receipts (co-pays) and miscellaneous monies received via the mail and interoffice into the computer and prepare daily bank deposit by remote deposit, CC online or deposit slips. Post insurance/patient payments received via lock box or EFT daily.

    Process refunds and payment plans daily. Post and issue refunds

    Process Collections Agency Remits weekly

    Respond to inquiries concerning account balances, third party payments, etc., from patients, relatives and/or third party payers in a timely manner.

    Routinely review all claims that have been entered into the system for 30-45 days within your designated insurance group

    Contact third party payers by telephone or online that have failed to make appropriate payments with follow up correspondence (or fax), as indicated.

    Demonstrates good judgment and reasoning when investigating and solving problems. Demonstrates good judgment in respecting the confidentiality of patient and employee information.  Seeks guidance and direction in the performance of responsibilities and duties.  Consistently acts as a customer service representative for the company.

    Works well with supervisor and all others in positions of authority.  Maintains cooperative working relationship with all personnel. Promotes a high degree of morale and spirit of motivation within the office. This includes the degree of cooperation, communication and coordination between this function and other employees.  Demonstrates ability to tactfully handle difficult situations.

    Summary:

    The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) has the opportunity to positively interact with patients, guests, family members and team members daily.   • RN – Med/Surg. Nights (FT w/Benefits) – 4.25.16

    FT Med Surg Night Shift

    Summary:

    Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting. Communicates with provider/house supervisor/co-workers/manager, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in the departments with adequate supervision.

    Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

    • Provides direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical setting.
    • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
    • Acts as a resource for staff and physicians.
    • Effective interpersonal skills.
    • Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
    • Demonstrates ability to be flexible, organized, and function well under stressful situations.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Current, unrestricted Indiana RN License
    • BLS certification required.
    • Basic computer knowledge and organizational skills.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Receptionist – FMOC (PT w/Out Benefits) – 4.20.16

    We are currently seeking a friendly, compassionate Receptionist for our busy family practice in Cloverdale. Primary duties will include triage of telephone calls, scheduling, checking patients in/out, collection of payment, scanning, faxing and general office duties.  Experience with Electronic Medical Records (Allscripts), insurance, pre-certification and authorization is preferred. This is a part-time, no benefit eligible position with potential to lead to a full time, benefit eligible position.

    Regulatory Requirements:

    • High School Graduate or equivalent.
    • One year experience in office setting or hospital setting.
    • Experience with billing and insurance preferred.
    • Ability to multi-task.

    Language Skills:

    • Ability to communicate in English; both verbally and in writing.
    • Additional languages helpful.

    Skills:

    • Basic computer knowledge.
    • Basic Electronic Health Records knowledge.
    • Ability to type 40 words per minute.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Dietary (PT w/out Ben.) – 4.11.16

    Putnam County Hospital's Dietary department is currently searching for a part-time Dietary Aide. This person would be willing to work days or evening shifts based on the need of this department. This person would also be required to work every other weekend and some holidays. This person will be cross-trained within other dietary positions, as needed. This is a part time position without benefits.

     

  • Medical Asst. (FT w/Benefits) – 4.11.16

    We are currently seeking a friendly, patient-focused Medical Assistant for our Putnam Prompt Care/Women’s Healthcare floater.  This position requires both front and back office duties and certification is required. Our ideal candidate will have experience.  This will be a full-time, benefit eligible position.  Evening and weekend hours are required.

  • Certified Scrub/Surgical Tech (FT w/Ben.) – 2.26.16

    Monday-Friday day shift
    Certification required.
    Call required.
    A Certified Surgical Technician is a person who is trained and has demonstrated the ability in surgical technical skills and has a knowledge of biological science. A CST assists in nursing care activities within the peri-operative services under the direct supervision of an operating room staff registered nurse. Assists in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Functions as a member of the sterile team in donning gowns and gloves, creating and maintaining a sterile field and issuing instruments to surgeons. All age groups will be encountered by this position.
    New pay scale as of July 1, 2015.

  • RN – Med Surg (PRN) – 1.15.16

    We are looking for one Registered Nurse for our Med Surg Department. The position is not benefit eligible and will be working 7p-7a night shift, prn.

    • License is Required
    • Experience Preferred
    • Must be BLS certified
  • RN – ICU (FT/PT/PRN w/Ben.) – 4.12.16

    We are looking for Registered Nurse(s) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Department.  We are looking for either or of the following

    1 - FT and benefit eligible position working 7p-7a night shift (3 shifts per week) or 2 - PT positions (2 shifts per week), benefit eligible.

    • License is Required
    • Experience Preferred
    • Must be ACLS, PALS, BLS certified
  • Sleep Lab Tech – 1/14/2015

    We are looking for a PRN Sleep Lab Technologist. RPSGT is preferred but will consider Credentialed Respiratory Therapist.
