Dr. Louis Janeira is a board certified cardiologist who joined Franciscan Physician Network Indiana Heart Physicians in early 2018 from a private practice in Terre Haute, Indiana. A graduate of Ross University Medical School, he completed his residency at Liberty Health Jersey City Medical Center, Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey. He also did his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center, with additional training in Electrophysiology. Dr. Janeira has a special interest in abnormal rhythms of the heart as well as prevention of cardiovascular disease. He sees patients in Indianapolis, Putnam County and Franciscan Health Crawfordsville. And on a side note, in Dr. Janeira’s spare time, he is an accomplished author of medical murder mysteries books and stage plays.
