At Putnam County Hospital’s Surgery Center, our goal is to provide all of our patients with top quality and personable care throughout the entire process: pre-operative to post-operative. Our associates feel it is a privilege to be able to offer such a high level of care for our neighbors, family and friends in a high tech facility close to home.

Our own, Dr. Robin Mendelsohn, Orthopaedic Surgeon provide great care for our patients. Other local physicians use the facility as well for podiatry, ophthalmology (eyes), and otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) to name a few.

In 2005, the Hospital expanded the Surgery Department with addition of the 24,830-square foot Surgery Center. Today, the outpatient facility provides patients with the option of having prompt, effective procedures locally.

The Surgery Center houses seven pre-operative patient rooms, seven procedure rooms, and twelve post-operative or recovery rooms. Currently, the Sleep Study Lab bedrooms are located in the Surgery Center allowing an easy accessible and peaceful location.

Consultations can be scheduled with each of our local surgeons by calling Putnam Surgical Specialties at 765-301-7430 .

If you need to have testing done prior, your surgeon will provide you with information about when you should complete them. Putnam County Hospital is available to provide testing prior to your surgery.
