Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: Noon to 5 p.m.

No appointment necessary.


Accepting most insurance plans. Please ask the receptionist to check on your specific plan. Co-pays will apply. Cash, check and credit card payments will all be accepted.


Putnam Prompt Care is proud to offer high-quality, low-cost option to the Emergency Department for treating minor illnesses and injuries to adults and children over 12 weeks of age. Below are general guidelines to help differentiate when to receive care from Putnam Prompt Care, and when a visit to the Emergency Department is in your best interest:

Carl Vincent Lucas – RN, EMT-P, FNP-C

Carl works as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Putnam Prompt Care. Carl graduated from Simmons University in May of 2019. Prior to earning his MSN, Carl worked part-time as an RN in several local emergency departments. Carl has worked for Putnam since September of 2019. He retired from the Indianapolis Fire Department March of 2020 after over 20 years of service, At that time he joined the Putnam family full time. Carl is originally from Cincinnati but has lived and worked in central Indiana for the last 30 years. During his spare time, Carl enjoys reading, attending concerts, traveling, and practicing the trumpet.

Katie Arnold – PA, PA-C

Katelyn Arnold is a board certified physician assistant from Greencastle, Indiana. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Marian University and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Franklin College. Katelyn is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of the Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA) as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).


Having graduated from South Putnam High School, Katelyn is proud to be able to serve her community as a medical provider. She joined Putnam Prompt Care in 2022 and provides care to patients of all ages. She enjoys connecting and building relationships with patients and is committed to improving the health and well-being of Putnam County by delivering patient-centered care to every individual she encounters.


Katelyn is married to Sawyer Arnold and together they have one son. In her free time Katelyn enjoys spending time with family, reading, and traveling.

Anna Wozniak

Anna grew up in Poland and lived Austria before moving to the US with her husband and son in 1982. They also have a daughter who lives in Lafayette  and is the reason why they  moved to the Indiana 5 years ago. Anna got her bachelor of nursing degree from Jackson University and her masters from Loewenberg School of Nursing at the University of Memphis in Tennessee. Anna became board certified family NP in 2016.


In her free time she likes to read , garden and watch marathon medical shows like ER or Gray’s Anatomy.  Anna also likes to cook and try out new recipes from her collection of cookbooks. Anna and her husband have traveled to a number of  beautiful countries but her favorite getaway was a trout fishing trip to the White and Norfork rivers in Arkansas.


Anna is really happy to be a part of Putnam team and looking forward to many years here.

Abby Balka, RN BSN, CCRN, NP-C

Abby Balka to our team of providers! Abby attended the University of Indianapolis for undergraduate in nursing. She spent 12 years working in various ICUs both local and across the country through travel nursing. She then, graduated from Frontier Nursing University in 2020 with a degree as a family Nurse Practitioner. Abby has been working as a Nurse Practitioner at Convenient Care in Terre Haute for the last 2 years specializing in the care of acute injuries, treatment of respiratory or flu-like symptoms, urinary symptoms, and minor cuts/stains/sprains for all ages.


Abby is originally from Fort Wayne, but has called central Indiana home for the last 20 years. She married and has 1 daughter and 2 dogs. Abby enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano, traveling and doing anything outdoors, especially camping, hiking, skiing, and anything to soak up sunshine and in general, she said she loves her job!

Jill Krouse - PA-C

Jill Krouse is a Certified Physician Assistant at the Putnam Prompt Care. She completed her undergraduate degree at Indiana State with a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2019. She went on to fulfill her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Indiana State in 2023. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).


Jill joined Putnam Prompt Care in 2024 and provides care for acute and subacute injuries and illnesses to adults and children over 12 weeks of age. She highly values the patient-provider relationship and patient education that allows patients to feel in control of their mental and physical health.


She has lived in Greencastle with her husband, Andrew, her son and stepson since 2018. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking and playing pickleball with her family, volunteering in her community, and reading while lounging with her two cats.

Catherine Geanon, PA

Catherine is a PA or physician assistant who graduated from Butler University with a B.A. in psychology and a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Between graduating from her undergraduate studies and returning to Butler for PA school, she worked as a traveling consultant for her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega and as a psychometrist at St. Vincent Hospital, conducting inpatient and outpatient neuropsychology testing. She has been working for Putnam County Hospital since she graduated as a PA in 2019. Originally from Wisconsin, Catherine is a proud cheesehead and Packers fan. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, baking, exercising, volunteering, and spending time with family.
