Dr. Shouse is a board-certified physician with an independent practice based in Indianapolis, who treats patients at Putnam County Hospital weekly. Dr. Shouse graduated from William M Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 2012 and completed a 3-year surgical residency at Loretto Hospital in Chicago, where he was appointed Chief Surgical Resident. Dr. Shouse is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery Certified in Foot Surgery, Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. Dr. Shouse enjoys all aspects of Podiatry focusing on heel pain, forefoot deformity corrections, sports medicine and surgery, wound care, arthritis treatment and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. As a native Hoosier, Dr. Shouse enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, staying active and is an avid golfer. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Shouse provides surgical care at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Surgery Center of Carmel and Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. Treatment goals: “I want to bring patients back to their personal best. My goal is to develop a unique relationship with each patient allowing me to customize treatments based on each patient’s specific needs.”
