Putnam Women’s Health and Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine joining together
Putnam County Hospital is excited to share some important news— Putnam Women’s Health is joining Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine to provide women’s health and OB services alongside our primary care team. This will create the very best continuum of care for our community families.
It is the goal of Putnam County Hospital to create a seamless continuum of care. Putnam County Hospital hopes to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall care experience. By integrating primary care and women’s health services, providers can ensure that patients receive coordinated, comprehensive care across every stage of life. This approach minimizes gaps in treatment, and facilitates better communication among care teams. A well-organized continuum of care promotes efficiency, supports families in all stages of life, and leads to more personalized and effective healthcare.
Darla Berry, RN and Mid-wife said, “Integrating our women’s health service line into PPIM allows us to truly become the one-stop for all your healthcare needs. All of your care needs in one trusted place."
Effective August 1, 2025, Putnam Women’s Health will transition to the Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine team and will begin seeing patients inside of Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine located on the 1st floor inside of Putnam County Hospital.
Please rest assured that there will be no disruption to care of any of our current patients. All existing appointments after August 1, 2025 will take place within Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. If you have any questions or need help with directions, feel free to call us at 765-301-7440
