The Putnam County Hospital (PCH) is celebrating the Aspire Tobacco Free Program now available at the hospital.

The open house will take place 4-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30 in the Medical Office Building, located inside PCH.

PCH, in partnership with Franciscan Health, is dedicated to helping neighbors, family and friends kick the habit for good. And thanks to a grant from the Putnam County Health Department, this program, along with the Quit Now program, is offered for free (a $50 value) to all Putnam County residents.

Dr. Vijay Rao, Franciscan Physician Network Indiana Heart Physicians, is passionate about the Aspire program and is dedicated to helping the community reduce its smoking statistics. He will be available at the open house to talk about the program and to answer any questions.

Individuals will also have the opportunity to meet the Aspire coordinators who will be working one-on-one with those who choose to participate in the program.

For more information about the open house or the Aspire program, persons may call 658-2779 Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
