‘Spring In To Action’ Paper Goods and Cleaning Supply Drive

PCHOSP • March 12, 2014

Putnam County Hospital is partnering with WREB Radio to collect donations for the ‘Spring In To Action’ Paper Goods and Cleaning Supply Drive, which will be held at the Putnam County Hospital Surgery Center parking lot from 9am – 5pm on Thursday, March 20, 2014.

Items that are being collected include toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, toilet bowl cleaner, facial tissues, disinfecting spray cleaner, copy paper, disinfecting wipes, laundry soap and air fresheners (no plug in types, please).

Donations will benefit Beyond Homeless, Inc. (BHI). BHI is excited to be opening its doors, after having  no homeless shelter in Putnam County for over two years. BHI will be the only organization in Putnam County providing shelter to women, children and families or directly offering programs to arrange for the housing of single men. BHI will continue to work with other local programs assisting those in or near poverty in order to create a broad group of much-needed services. The organization has also been in close contact with and has the support of other local entities.

For more information about the drive, please contact Vanessa Green at Putnam County Hospital by calling 765.653.5121.
